• Food supplements with vitamins and minerals
  Vandenbussche Farma Service bvba has vast expertise in the compilation of documentation for the notification of food supplements. We help you to obtain your notification at Health Authorities and review labelling to ensure that it is in compliance with all EU legislation on food supplements, including nutritional claims.
  
• Food supplements with plants
  Food supplements may contain plants or plant extracts, but claims are very limited. We advise you on the particularities concerning local requirements and changing EU legislation. Vandenbussche Farma Service has experience in the compilation of the files, including literature search and documentation of safety and efficacy, to help you obtain a notification for the Belgian market.
  
• Traditional herbal medicinal products
  Some food supplements with plants or plant extracs may be traditional herbal medicinal products.
  Directive 2004/24/EC of 31 March 2004 concerning traditional herbal medicinal products, which amended directive 2001/83/EC, allows the registration of some of these products through a less stringent procedure than that required for classic medicinal products.
  
• Foods for particular nutritional use
  We evaluate your project and advise you on the correct labelling in the three official Belgian languages (Dutch, French, and German). If required we compile the documentation for notification to Health Authorities.
